Trading Names

WestBridge SSAS is a trading name of WestBridge Pension Administration Limited who along with WestBridge Tax form WestBridge Group.

Each division aims to provide a professional service in their respective areas of expertise.

Incorporated in July 2020, the directors have decades of expertise in pension and tax management and have built a team of likeminded professionals whose aim is to deliver a quality of service for a fixed fee.

WestBridge SSAS is independent, with no ties or allegiances to third parties, meaning that that our clients are able to select their professional partners assisting in the investment of their funds with whom WestBridge Group will be happy to work.

WestBridge SSAS has already grown through direct new business as well as through acquisition of a substantial back book and now administers over 1,000 SSASs with assets under administration of £1bn. Our portfolio of SSASs include around 900 properties.

WestBridge SSAS

WestBridge SSAS provide a cradle to grave administration proposition from establishment or takeover of a scheme to wind up and closure.

Our clients have access to individual Account Managers who can provide a dedicated and personalised service to our individual clients. The Account Managers are backed up by specialist property and banking teams and clients also have access to Trustee Directors who are available for complex or technical issues and to attend trustee meetings.

WestBridge SSAS administration services are provided through WestBridge Pension Administration Limited (Company No 12769850) and through two bare trustee companies WestBridge Trustees Limited (Company No 12783424) and Santhouse Pensioneer Trustee Company Limited (Company No 01670940). The bare trustee company will act as Independent Trustee to the SSAS and, along with the member trustees, will act as co Scheme Administrator.

Please note that Westbridge Pension Administration Limited, nor either of the bare trustee companies can provide regulated advice in connection with the establishment of, transfers to, investments within or benefits from a Small Self Administered Scheme. If you require regulated advice, we can introduce you to a regulated financial adviser.

Permitted Investments

A SSAS is a very flexible registered pension scheme with a wide range of potential investment opportunities, however certain investments can trigger tax charges. WestBridge SSAS can accept the following investment categories.

Some investments may require individual consideration and due diligence and WestBridge SSAS reserve the right to reject or unwind any investment that is deemed as unsuitable for a Small Self Administered Scheme.

Commercial Property

The WestBridge SSAS specialist property team has considerable experience in the acquisition of commercial property within a registered pension scheme.

Banking

WestBridge SSAS operate a default UK bank account facility with Metro Bank and our services and systems are geared to operate efficiently through this account. This is the audit trail account through which all monies entering of leaving the scheme must pass. Metro Bank offer a view only electronic access service so that clients can at all times see their current balances and transactions.

The Metro Bank account is not designed to be an investment account and clients are able to open additional deposit accounts or cash hubs to hold deposits for short or extended terms.

WestBridge SSAS Fees

The fee to establish a new SSAS is £1,500 plus VAT which will usually be invoiced to the founder employer establishing the scheme. Thereafter our fees can be invoiced to the scheme or the company as requested.

WestBridge SSAS fees are designed to be “all inclusive” and will be set subject to an initial discussion where the actively of the scheme and required will be determined. WestBridge SSAS fees are subject to a minimum annual fee of £1,500 plus VAT pa.

The determined annual fee will include the services outlined in this document and will be payable quarterly in arrears.

The determined fee will increase each year in line with NAE/CPI.

Whilst the determined fee is designed to be all inclusive, there are some add hoc services which fall outside of the inclusive fee including but not limited to:

Where a task falls outside of inclusive fee, we will inform you in advance and before any fees are incurred. For these services a time cost fee will apply of £150ph.
